Happy New Year

Welcome back to a fresh new 2025 term.

The staff have been busy planning new topics and learning opportunities for the children and we are all raring to get going and see more great progress in school.

This term our EPIC dads funding has come to an end.  We would still like to provide a space and time for parents and families to meet and so we are hoping to continue these open sessions for you in a slightly different format.  The new look sessions will continue to be in the Nest with refreshments and a welfare table, but the events will be hosted by various members of the team each week depending on the focus. One week may be a SEN focus with our SEN team, the next week a pastoral focus in which we will invite that team and so on.

Once a half term we will host a parent forum with Mrs Rutter, where we discuss general issues with you, you can ask questions and give us feedback on how your experiences of school are going.

We will begin our first session on Tuesday 21st January in the Nest at morning drop off with a focus on SEND.  At this session you can meet Miss White our temporary SENCO support teacher along with Miss Hennessy and Mrs Rutter.

We hope to see you there!

We all look forward to this half term where our value of Hope will be guiding us into the new spring.

Hope is not always spontaneous or easy. There is work to be done.

As well as trusting God, we have to develop qualities of steadfastness in our own character.

Paul says: ‘We know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.’ (Romans 5:3-4)
