Welcome from our Chair of Governors
St Marys Primary School operates as a Single-Academy Trust (SAT). This means the Trust Board is directly responsible for all aspects of the school's governance and strategic oversight.
The trust governance consists of:
-
Members – the guardians of the trust’s constitution and vision.
-
Trustees – who are also company directors and charity trustees, responsible for the day-to-day governance and strategic direction. They are also often referred to as Governors.
Our Trust Board is committed to supporting the school's leadership team in providing an outstanding education for all our pupils. Our Trustees bring a wide range of expertise and provide challenge, support, and strategic oversight.
Details of current Members, Trustees, and our committee structure can be found below. As Trustees we are always happy to receive comments from parents, staff and other stakeholders in our school. Please do get in touch via the contact details below.
Please note that Trustees cannot deal directly with complaints or grievances and these should always be submitted following our published policies. Copies of these can be found under the policies section of our website. We are committed to ensuring that such issues are dealt with fairly, openly and transparently and inline with our published policies.
