Uniform Information

If you wish to purchase logo uniform this can be done online from Birds of Dereham. When ordering uniform your child's name will be required as a reference. You can pay for a home delivery or alternatively you can opt for free delivery to the Academy using the code SMA2020 which may take up to 2 weeks to arrive. 

The main Academy uniform consists of:

Boys

  • Royal blue sweatshirt
  • White or pale blue shirt or polo shirt
  • Grey or black trousers
  • Sensible black shoes/trainers  
  • In warm weather boys may wear shorts and short sleeved shirt
     

Girls

  • Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan
  • White or pale blue shirt/blouse or polo shirt
  • Grey or black skirt, pinafore dress, trousers or leggings
  • Sensible black shoes/trainers (no shoes with high heels)
  • Sensible, flat heeled black boots may be worn
  • In warm weather, girls may wear taylored shorts or blue/white gingham dress
     

PE Kit

  • Plain black shorts for indoor PE and the summer months (not cycling shorts) 
  • Black/navy/grey tracksuit or jogging bottoms for outdoor PE and colder weather (not leggings)
  • House Team colour sweatshirt for outdoor PE (children can not wear their school logo sweatshirt for PE)
  • House Team colour round neck t-shirt
  • Trainers for outdoor PE
  • Socks (tights cannot be worn as PE kit)

 

Children can come to school in their PE kit on their PE days (except for Early Years).

Long hair must be tied back and earrings, watches and other jewellery removed for boys and girls. 

Please note that children need a complete change of clothes for PE i.e. none of their day Academy uniform can be worn.

Bags

Children can use an Academy book bag or a small rucksack to transfer reading books, water bottles and items to and from school.

This should not be a sports or weekend size rucksack.

PE kit should be brought in either an Academy PE bag or drawstring bag.

Book bags and PE bags are available to purchase via Birds of Dereham.
