4AF visit to St. Mary's Church
On Friday 8th December, 4AF visited St. Mary's Church. Reverend Sue spoke to the children about Advent and how Christians look forward to the birth of Jesus.
We completed a trail around the church, finding out about the different parts of the Christmas story.
We also had opportunity to look at the star and angel decorations that had been made for the church by local community groups, including the children at St. Mary's Academy. We particularly enjoyed spotting our own decorations on the Year 4 tree.
