Order your uniform online from Birds of Dereham, just click on the logo below. When ordering uniform your child's name will be required as a reference. You can pay for a home delivery or alternatively you can opt for free delivery to the Academy using the code SMA2020 which may take up to 2 weeks to arrive. 

The main Academy uniform consists of:

Boys

• Royal blue sweatshirt
• White shirt or polo shirt
• Grey or black trousers
• Sensible black shoes (no trainers)  
• (Should children attend in inappropriate footwear they will be asked to change into their PE plimsolls for the day and parents' telephoned)
• In warm weather boys may wear shorts and short sleeved shirt

Girls

• Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan
• White shirt/blouse or polo shirt
• Grey or black skirt or pinafore dress
• or grey or black trousers
• Sensible black shoes (no shoes with high heels or trainers)
• Sensible, flat heeled black boots may be worn - with no decoration and not Doc Martin/ builder type boots
• (Should children attend in inappropriate footwear they will be asked to change into their PE plimsolls for the day and parents' telephoned)
• In warm weather girls may wear blue/white gingham dress

PE Kit

• Plain royal blue shorts for indoor PE and the summer months (not cycling shorts) 

• Black tracksuit or jogging bottoms for outdoor PE and colder weather (not leggings)

• Plain royal blue sweatshirt for outdoor PE (children cannot wear their school logo sweatshirt for PE)

• Plain white round neck t-shirt

• Trainers for outdoor PE

• A change of plain white sport socks (tights cannot be worn as PE kit)

• PE kit should be kept in an Academy PE bag or drawstring bag - kit needs to be brought in on a Monday Morning and taken home at the end of the week for washing.

Long hair must be tied back and earrings, watches and other jewellery removed for boys and girls.

Please note that children need a complete change of clothes for PE i.e. none of their day Academy uniform can be worn.

Bags

Preferably children will use an Academy book bag to transfer reading books and items to and from school.

A small rucksack can be used to transfer books and water bottles to and from school this should not be a sports or weekend size rucksack.

PE kit should be brought in an Academy PE bag or drawstring bag.
